Privacy Policy

Who we are

Codus is a partnership between Neil Brown and Mike Tyrrell, providing advisory services and information products to the investment management sector. We are based in the UK.

Our website is coduspartners.com.

What information we collect

We only collect personal information when you actively give it to us — for example, when you email us directly. This typically means your name, email address, and anything you choose to include in your message.

We do not run user accounts, collect data through web forms, operate a mailing list, or process payment information through this website.

How we use your information

We use the information you send us solely to respond to your enquiry or to deliver the service you have requested. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

Legal basis for processing

We process personal data on the basis of legitimate interests — specifically, responding to business enquiries — or, where you have requested a specific service, on the basis of contract.

We work with clients in both the UK and the EU. Where EU clients are concerned, EU GDPR applies alongside UK GDPR; in practice, our obligations under both are materially the same.

How long we keep your data

We keep your contact details and correspondence for up to two years after last contact, unless we have an ongoing business relationship with you that requires us to keep it for longer.

Your rights

You have the right to ask us what personal data we hold about you, to correct it, or to ask us to delete it. To exercise any of these rights, please email Mike Tyrrell.

If you have a complaint about how we handle your data, you can contact the UK Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page.
